Bethany is 10 years old and has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and fibromyalgia. On March 4, Bethany's doctors told us they are sure that Bethany has lupus as well. On March 30, Bethany was diagnosed with Epilepsy as well. Bethany was diagnosed with JRA when she was 6 years old after many long months of testing and pulling out our hair. Update: June 5th, 2006 Just wanted to send an update before I go to bed. Bethany is still doing so well with no seizures at all. She's having some problems with her Lupus and JRA, but we can deal with things So much easier without having seizures to go along with it. She is feeling SO much better though. We want to thank each one of you for your prayers. Well, today is Bethany's big day..... She is staying this week with my mom and going to Vacation bible School with her. Me and her dad will have to sneak up there though. I can't go without seeing her on her birthday. She is having a party on Saturday for her friends, and wants us to give her our present then. She has gotten some birthday gifts and cards in the mail. Thank you to everyone who has sent her a birthday card. I would also like to thank the United Helpers Day Hab for a really great box full of birthday gifts. She loved everything that was the box. And also thank Mrs. Pam, Keiki Cards, Cherie, Kasey, Katie, Van Ess & Leitzell Halls for sending gifts to Bethany. She has really enjoyed everything so much. And also to Angel Jen for the beautiful china doll. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful people following Bethany and praying for her. We really feel all the love that you send to her and our family! I will update later on about her birthday and what she did.
