Shiloh is a miracle! He has shown the doctors that God decides how long he will live on earth.

One day the girls and Shiloh and Sunny were all in the kitchen. There is a door to the Jacuzzi outside the kitchen. Sunny left the kitchen for a few minutes to return and find Shiloh was not with the girls. The door was ajar and she rushed out to find Shiloh in the Jacuzzi. He was not breathing. My daughter who has had training in CPR tried to bring him back to life but was having a hard time, before 911 arrived.
Shiloh was only 9 months old, at the time of the accident. He was crawling all over the place. He was use to going in the Jacuzzi and just loved the water. His mom, ( Sunny) would take him in with her all the time.) He was born in water, and I was there for his birth. It was a beautiful water birth. (I live in Maine and they live in Ca.) The very first water birth, I had ever seen. It was a miraculous experience.
My daughter remained with Shiloh in the hospital for 6 weeks. The father took care of the other children and she remained at Shiloh’s side every minute of the day. The Drs. said, that the best thing was for them to unplugged the life support machine, because Shiloh was brain dead, and that he would never come back. My daughter would not believe that. She said, that as long as he was alive she would not unplug any machines. They suggested, that he be put in a nursing home. They, (the Drs.) said, he could not remain in the hospital. My daughter said, that she could not put him in a nursing home. She was taking him home with her to care for him, herself. So they trained her the 6 weeks she was there, to take care of him. Shiloh is 24 hrs. Vigil nurses care.

Update: January 28th 2005

Shiloh breathes on his own and is put on oxygen at night time. Shiloh still remains in a coma.
